Aliyah and Scriptural Prophecy

One of the greatest miracles of all History is unfolding quietly today, nearly unnoticed by many believers. Our Lord is bringing the Jewish people to Israel from the Land of the North, even the remotest parts of the earth, and fulfilling numerous Old Testament prophecies. Christian Believers who love Israel and her people must have a firm grounding in these scriptures as a guide to our faith and action on behalf of His chosen ones. In this context the following passages have been assembled by EEF USA to reveal the Heart of God for this day. May we each find His place for us in the great work of bringing His sons from afar!

God's Warning to the Nations

1. Genesis 12:3 "And I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."

2. Psalm 121:4 "Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep."

3. Psalm 122:6 "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you."

God's Summary Judgment on Israel

5. Leviticus 26:14-15...33 "But if you do not obey Me and do not carry out all these commandments, if, instead, you reject My statues, and if your soul abhors My ordinance so as not to carry out all My commandments, and so break My covenant... You, I will scatter among the nations and will draw out a sword after you, as your land becomes desolate and your cities become waste."

6. Deuteronomy 4:27 "And the Lord will scatter you among the peoples, and you shall be left few in number among the nations, where the Lord shall drive you."

8. Deuteronomy 32:26 "I said I would scatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men."

God's Promise of Final Restoration

9. Deuteronomy 30:1-4 "So it shall be when all of these things have come to you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you, and you call them to mind in all nations where the Lord your God has banished you, and you return to the Lord your God and obey Him with all your heart and soul according to all that I command you today, you and your sons, then the Lord your God will restore you from captivity, and have compassion on you, and will gather you again from all the peoples where the Lord your God has scattered you. If your outcasts are at the ends of the earth, from there the Lord your God will gather you, and from there He will bring you back."

10. Psalm 105:37....42-43 "Then He brought them out with silver and gold; and among His tribes there was not one who stumbled...For He remembered His holy word with Abraham His servant; and He brought forth His people with joy, His chosen ones with a joyful shout."

11. Psalm 106:44-47 "Nevertheless He looked upon their distress, when He heard their cry, and He remembered His covenant for their sake, and relented according to the greatness of His lovingkindness. He also made them objects of compassion in the presence of all their captors. Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the nations, to give thanks to Thy holy name, and glory in Thy praise."

12. Psalm 147:1-2 "Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant and praise is becoming, The Lord builds up Jerusalem; He gathers the outcasts of Israel."

And He will lift up a standard for the nations, and will assemble the banished ones of Israel, and will gather the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth....And there will be a highway from Assyria for the remnant of His people who will be left, just as there was for Israel in the day that they came up out of the land of Egypt."

14. Isaiah 14:1-2 "When the Lord will have compassion on Jacob, and again choose Israel, and settle them in their own land, when strangers will join them and attach themselves to the house of Jacob. 17. Isaiah 35:8-10 "And a highway will be there, a roadway, and it will be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean will not travel on it, but it will be for him who walks that way, and fools will not wander on it. No lion will be there, nor will any vicious beast go up on it, these will not be found there. But the redeemed will walk there, and the ransomed of the Lord will return, and come with joyful shouting to Zion, with everlasting joy upon their heads. They will find gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing will flee away."

18. Isaiah 40:1-5 "Comfort, O comfort My people,' says your God. Speak kindly to Jerusalem; and call out to her, that her warfare has ended, that her iniquity has been removed, that she has received of the Lord's hand double for her sins. A voice is calling, clear the way for the Lord in the wilderness; make smooth in the desert a highway for our God. Let every valley be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low, and let the rough ground become a plain, and the rugged terrain a broad valley; then the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all flesh will see it together, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken."

19. Isaiah 41:8-11 "But you, Israel, My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, descendant of Abraham My friend, you whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called from its remotest parts, and said to you, 'you are my servant, I have chosen you and not rejected you. Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your god. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.' Behold, all those who are angered at you will be ashamed and dishonored; those who contend with you will be as nothing, and will perish."

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you....Do not fear, for I am with you; I will bring your offspring from the east, and gather you from the west. I will say to the north, Give them up! And to the south, 'Do not hold them back.' Bring My sons from afar, and My daughters from the ends of the earth"..."Bring out the people who are blind, even though they have eyes, and the deaf, even though they have ears....Even from eternity I am He; and there is none who can deliver out of My hand; I act and who can reverse it?"

22. Isaiah 44:3-5 "For I will pour out water on the thirsty land and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring, and My blessing on your descendants; and they will spring up among the grass like poplars by streams of water. 23. Isaiah 45: 2-6 "I will go before you and make the rough places smooth; I will shatter the doors of bronze, and cut through their iron bars. And I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden wealth of secret places, in order that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name. For the sake of Jacob My servant, and Israel My chosen one, I have also called you by your name; I have given you a title of honor though you have not known Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other; besides Me there is no God. I will gird you, though you have not known Me; that men may know from the rising to the setting of the sun that there is no one besides Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other."

24. Isaiah 46: 3-4 "Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, you who have been borne by Me from birth, and have been carried from the womb; even to your old age, I shall be the same, and even to your graying years I shall bear you! I have done it, and I shall carry you; and I will bear you, and I shall deliver you."

25. Isaiah 49: 8-10...12-13...22-23a...24-26 "Thus says the Lord, In a favorable time I have answered You, and in a day of salvation I have helped You; and I will keep You and give You for a covenant of the people, to restore the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritages'; saying to those who are bound, 'Go forth', to those who are in darkness, 'Show yourselves.' Along the roads they will feed. And their pasture will be on all bare heights. They will not hunger or thirst, neither will the scorching heat or sun strike him down; for He who has compassion on them will lead them, and will guide them to springs of water....Behold, these shall come from afar; and lo, these will come from the north and from the west, and those from the land of Sinim. Shout for joy, O heavens! And rejoice, O earth! Break forth into joyful shouting, O mountains! For the Lord has comforted His people, and will have compassion on His afflicted...Thus says the Lord God, behold I will lift up My hand to the nations, and set up My standard to the peoples; and they will bring your sons in their bosom, and your daughters will be carried on their shoulders. And kings will be your guardians, and their princesses your nurses....Can the prey be taken from the mighty man, or the captives of a tyrant be rescued? Surely, thus says the Lord, even the captives of the mighty man will be taken away, and the prey of the tyrant will be rescued; for I will contend with the one who contends with you, and I will save your sons. And I will feed your oppressors with their own flesh, and they will become drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine; and all flesh will know that 1, the Lord, am your Savior, and your Redeemer, the Mighty one of Jacob."

Isaiah 54:1-3...7-8...13 "Shout for joy, O barren one, you who have borne no child, break forth into joyful shouting and cry aloud, you who have not travailed, for the sons of the desolate one will be more numerous than the sons of the married woman, says the Lord. Enlarge the place of your tent; stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not, lengthen your cords, and strengthen your pegs. For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left. And your descendants will possess nations, and they will resettle the desolate cities....For a brief moment I forsook you, but with great compassion I will gather you. In an outburst of anger I hid My face from you for a moment, but with everlasting lovingkindness I will have compassion on you, says the Lord your Redeemer...And all your sons will be taught of the Lord, and the well-being of your sons will be great."

For the Holy One of Israel, known around the world, has glorified you in the eyes of all." (Living Bible)

30. Isaiah 62:4-7...10-12 "it will no longer be said to you, Forsaken, nor to your land will it any longer be said, Desolate; but you will be called, My delight is in her, and your land, married, for the Lord delights in you, and to Him your land will be married. For as a young man marries a virgin, so your sons will marry you; and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so your God will rejoice over you. On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen; all day and all night they will never keep silent. You who remind the Lord, take no rest for yourselves; and give Him no rest until He establishes and makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth....Go through, go through the gates; clear the way for the people; build up, build up the highway; remove the stones, lift up a standard over the peoples. Behold, the Lord has proclaimed to the end of the earth, say to the daughter of Zion, 'Lo, your salvation comes; behold His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him.' And it shall not come to mind, nor shall they remember it, nor shall they miss it, nor shall it be made again. At that time they shall call Jerusalem The Throne of the Lord, and all the nations will be gathered to it, to Jerusalem, for the name of the Lord; nor shall they walk anymore after the stubbornness of their evil heart. In those days the house of Judah will walk with the house of Israel, and they will come together from the land of the north to the land that I gave your fathers as an inheritance."

For I will restore them to their own land which I gave to their fathers. 34. Jeremiah 23: 3...7-8 "Then I Myself shall gather the remnant of My flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and shall bring them back to their pasture; and they will be fruitful and multiply...Therefore behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when they will no longer say, as the Lord lives, who brought up the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, but as the Lord lives, who brought up and led back the descendants of the household of Israel from the north land and from all the countries where I had driven them. Then they will live on their own soil."

36. Jeremiah 31:7-11...21...31-34 "For thus says the Lord, sing aloud with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chiefs of the nations; proclaim, give praise and say, O Lord, save Thy people, the remnant of Israel. Behold, I am bringing them from the north country, and I will gather them from the remote parts of the earth, among them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and she who is in labor with child, together; a great company, they shall return here with weeping they shall come, and by supplication I will lead them; I will make them walk by streams of waters, on a straight path in which they shall not stumble; for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is My first-born. Hear the word of the Lord, O nations, and declare in the coastlands afar off, and say, He who scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him as a shepherd keeps his flock. For the Lord has ransomed Jacob, and redeemed him from the hand of him who was stronger than he....Set up for yourselves roadmarks, place for yourself guideposts; direct your mind to the highway, the way by which you went Return, O virgin of Israel, return to these your cities.......

Behold, days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them, declares the Lord. But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord, I will put My law within them, and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. And they shall not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying Know the Lord, for they shall all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, declares the Lord, for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more."

And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries and bring them to their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the streams and in all the inhabited places of the land...I will seek the lost, bring back the scattered, bind up the broken, and strengthen the sick; but the fat and the strong I will destroy. I will feed them with judgment."

Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a now spirit within you,, and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 41. Hosea 11:3-4 "Yet it is I who taught Ephraim to walk, I took them in My arms; but they did not know that I healed them. I led them with cords of a man, with bonds of love, and I became to them as one who lifts the yoke from their jaws; and I bent down and fed them."

42. Amos 9:13-14 "Behold days are coming, declares the Lord, when the plowman will overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes him who sows seed; when the mountains will drip sweet wine, and all the hills will be dissolved. 43. Micah 4:6-7 "In that day, declares the Lord, I will assemble the lame, and gather the outcasts, even those whom I have afflicted. I will make the lame a remnant, and the outcasts a strong nation, and the Lord will reign over them in Mount Zion from now on and forever."

49. Psalm 138:1-3 "I will give Thee thanks with all my heart; I will sing praises to Thee before the gods, I will bow down toward Thy holy temple, and give thanks to Thy name for Thy lovingkindness and Thy truth; for thou hast magnified Thy word according to all Thy name. On the day I called Thou didst answer me; Thou didst make me bold with strength in my soul."

50. Lamentations 3:22-23 "The Lord's lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Thy faithfulness."
