Where the worst excesses of human nature had left distress and fear among a scattered people and governments had been impotent in helping them in their plight, God whispered in the ear of Gustav Scheller: "Help my people to go home". With a strength of purpose that can only be of God, the ministry of Operation Exodus was born out of obedience to that word. Its testimony to the grace and provision of God since then has been truly astounding, often in the face of difficulty and hardship.

In just a few years many thousands of Jewish families from some of the most remote parts of the former Soviet Union have been led safely home to Israel, where their lives can begin to blossom as never before possible.

Many Jews will be left behind unless we help them. A lot of them are so poor that they cannot afford the documents needed to leave for Israel, nor their fares to join the Jewish Agency-chartered flights to Tel Aviv or Operation Exodus sailings from Odessa to Haifa. Ebenezer provides funds to do so and brings these Jews to their departure points for Israel.

Ebenezer takes humanitarian aid to many Jews living on the edge of life, existing on meagre pensions or infrequently paid salaries. We give them food, clothing, medicines and other necessities. This Christian love in action opens many doors for these people to hear and respond to God's call to go home to Israel.

Ebenezer Emergency Fund is a Christian ministry called by God to help Jewish people living in the former Soviet Union to return to Israel in fulfilment of Biblical prophecy. Since 1991 it has grown rapidly and has bases in most of the republics in the former Soviet Union. It has an International Board, offices in the UK, USA, Switzerland and Germany, and National
Co-ordinators in over 20 countries.

Running parallel with the Ebenezer Emergency Fund, which has helped many thousands of Jewish people to go home to Israel, is the Ebenezer Aid Fund, our registered charity which enables us to continue to send much needed food, clothing and medicines to Jewish people in the land of the north.

Ebenezer is supported by Christians around the world. Will you join them to help in bringing Jewish people home in fulfilment of the prophetic scriptures?

Ebenezer especially needs:

Without prayer Ebenezer's ministry would be ineffective. As well as the quarterly Bulletin and regular Update tapes, a bi-monthly Prayer Alert can be obtained by those who want more information to help you pray effectively for Operation Exodus.

We continue to trust the Lord for His provision for the task of bringing Jewish people home from the land of the north. Thus far has He led us and we know that He will again release the necessary funds to meet all our financial needs.

We have an ongoing need for Volunteers to serve for a minimum of three months in Russia, Ukraine and other parts of the former Soviet Union. Those fluent in Russian and English are especially needed.

The prophetic Scriptures about the re-gathering of the Jewish people back to Israel in the last days are unfamiliar to many Christians, so Ebenezer is keen to be invited to churches to speak about the second exodus.
